Binomial Theorem

Linear Inequalities

NCERT Solutions for Class 11 Maths Chapter 6 Linear Inequalities are an important portion of mathematics. It is quite easy to score if your basic concepts are clear in this chapter. Linear inequalities are mathematical problems where relativity is gauged using ‘<’, ‘>’, ‘<=’, ‘>=’ operators instead of the ‘=’ or the equality operator. In other words, linear inequalities are similar to linear equations in algebra, but there is a major difference. When you multiply or divide both sides of an ‘inequal’ equation with the same negative number, the inequality reverses. Whereas in linear equations, there is no change to the equality operator. 

 

For instance, 4x - 6  > 90 is a linear inequation. You can solve this expression as if the ‘>’ sign is an equal sign to get the value of ‘x’.   In this inequation, we first add +6 to both sides. We will get 4x > 96. Next, we divide both sides by 4 to arrive at our final answer x > 4. This means that the value of x is greater than the integer 4 until infinity. Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations

The real and imaginary parts of a complex number equation make up the equation. There is nothing complex about complex numbers, simply the sum of two integers (real, imaginary). Imaginary numbers, on the other hand, provide a negative result when they are squared.

Sets

Sets is the first chapter covered under the new NCERT syllabus Class 11 maths. As a basic concept in mathematics, Sets are basically a technique to group together similar objects, classify various such groups and define relations shared between them. Sets can be made of practically anything. However, for any group or collection to be adjudged a set in terms of maths, the set's range or contents need to be well defined.
